Business Development Manager – Broker Channel

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Broker Channel will lead the implementation of the sales strategy for the corporate market through broker partners. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Business, the role focuses on expanding market share and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in formulating and executing the corporate sales strategy aligned with overall business growth.
• Identify broker opportunities, negotiate and close deals within quality guidelines to increase market share.
• Maintain and grow existing corporate client relationships, seeking cross‑selling and new business acquisition.
• Recruit and manage broker partners, driving sales targets and upselling existing business.
• Provide accurate, competitive quotations for all product lines and ensure timely delivery to brokers and prospects.
• Conduct continuous product training for brokers to uphold product knowledge and professionalism.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic corporate clients to boost revenue.
• Develop market intelligence, competitor analysis and industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams, marketing and other managers to maximise sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Marketing or a related business discipline.
• Diploma in Insurance (ACII or AIIK) and membership of CII or IIK.
• 10 years of insurance industry experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
