Business Development Manager

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Business Development Manager in Nairobi. The role drives business growth by identifying new market opportunities, expanding the customer base, strengthening strategic partnerships and increasing revenue. It works closely with sales, marketing and operations teams to strengthen the company's market position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies, identify new opportunities, market segments and partnerships, and prepare sales growth plans.
• Build relationships with key customers, distributors and corporate accounts, and support the sales team in negotiating major contracts.
• Conduct market research on trends, customer needs and competitors, and monitor retail pricing and product positioning.
• Monitor performance against revenue and growth targets, prepare sales forecasts, pipeline and performance reports, and recommend ways to improve acquisition, retention and profitability.
• Represent the organisation at client meetings, industry events and networking events.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• At least four years of experience in business development, sales or marketing.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and growth strategies.
• Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
