CCTV Controller

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time CCTV Controller in Ongata Rongai. The role covers monitoring and operating CCTV systems, reporting security incidents and supporting the security team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems across designated areas, watch live and recorded footage and respond promptly to alarms and unusual activity.
• Record and document incidents and observations, and prepare detailed incident reports for management and security teams.
• Coordinate with security personnel, management and authorities during incidents, and assist investigations by reviewing footage.
• Check cameras, monitors and recording equipment regularly, report faults and help implement new CCTV systems.
• Keep CCTV footage confidential and share it only with authorised personnel, in line with company procedures and privacy requirements.
• Communicate clearly with security teams, support the training of new CCTV and security staff and work both independently and as part of the team.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar CCTV, control room or security monitoring role.
• Ability to stay alert and focused for long periods and to remain calm under pressure.
• Good communication, teamwork and report-writing skills.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of CCTV systems and surveillance technology.
• Excellent observation and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of security, data protection and privacy regulations is an added advantage.
