About the role

SWIZZ SOLUTIONS is seeking a qualified Certified Public Accountant to join its finance team in Mombasa County, Kenya. This full‑time, hybrid position involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring compliance with applicable reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and interpret financial statements with a focus on accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and other financial records.
• Conduct tax preparation, compliance and basic tax planning for both organizations and individuals.
• Analyze financial data to support management decision‑making.
• Advise clients on best financial practices and monitor regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, policies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge, especially in general ledger accounting and financial analysis.
• Experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
