Chicken Sales Executive

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Chicken Sales Executive in Ngara, Nairobi, in the poultry and food products industry. The role covers selling and promoting chicken products, managing customer orders and building relationships with restaurants, hotels, butcheries, retailers and institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and promote chicken products to existing and potential customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Receive, process and record customer orders, and respond to enquiries about products, pricing, availability and delivery.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and follow up with customers to encourage repeat orders.
• Visit potential customers such as restaurants, hotels, butcheries, retailers and institutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing, and give management regular feedback.
• Maintain records of sales, orders, customer details and payments, prepare sales reports and coordinate with operations and delivery teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field.
• Previous sales experience, preferably in poultry, food, FMCG or retail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with sales targets, good organisational and time-management skills, and self-motivation.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Use of communication platforms such as WhatsApp and email.
