About the role
We are seeking an experienced, people‑focused senior leader to serve as our Chief Operating Officer. In this second‑in‑command position you will partner closely with the Chief Officer, trustees and the wider leadership team to guide the organisation through its next stage of growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day operations across the organisation.
- Oversee service delivery, transformation initiatives and corporate services.
- Manage people functions, ensuring staff and volunteers are supported and motivated.
- Collaborate with the Chief Officer, trustees and senior leaders to shape strategic direction.
- Maintain focus on quality, purpose and inclusive culture while driving organisational adaptability.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience, preferably in a service‑oriented or non‑profit environment.
- Strong people‑management skills with a collaborative and approachable style.
- Commitment to inclusive practices and high‑quality service delivery.
- Ability to navigate change and keep the organisation’s purpose at the core of decisions.
