About the role
The Public Service Commission, through the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, is offering a 12‑month Civil Engineering internship under the Affordable Housing Programme (Cohort 2). The role supports housing development projects across Kenya and provides hands‑on experience in project sites and marketing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Complete duties assigned by supervisors and mutually agreed upon.
- Document skills acquired in deployment areas of the Affordable Housing Programme.
- Participate in mentorship activities and undertake additional responsibilities designed for the programme.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised university.
- Graduated no earlier than 2020.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Has not previously benefited from a similar internship programme.

What we offer
- 12‑month non‑renewable internship.
- Stipend paid at a rate determined by the Government.
