Claims Officer – Medical Insurance Claims

About the role

The Claims Officer will ensure that all medical insurance services rendered are accurately billed, revenue is recognized, and customer accounts are reconciled. This full‑time position supports the administration team with routine accounting tasks, invoice processing, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process medical insurance claims and partner billing.
• Ensure services rendered are billed and revenue recognized.
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process invoices and assist with month‑end financial reporting.
• Work with hospital billing systems to verify charges.
• Collaborate with healthcare partners to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Support internal audit processes related to claims and billing.

Required profile

• CPA Part Two qualification.
• At least two years of relevant claims processing experience.
• Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Health Management Information Systems.
• Experience using hospital billing systems.
• General computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
