Clinical Nurse II – PCU Part‑Time Float (Days)

About the role

BayCare is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to provide part‑time, day‑shift float coverage across multiple hospitals in the Tampa Bay region. The RN will work on a 2‑shift, 12‑hour schedule, rotating among designated facilities to ensure consistent, high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to other members of the health‑care team.
• Maintain professional accountability and pursue ongoing development.
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Required profile

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of PCU RN experience in acute care.
• Nursing specialty certification preferred.
