Clinician – Workplace Health & Safety

About the role

The Clinician will deliver high‑quality medical care to employees and visitors at our factory clinic in Miwani, Kisumu County. This role ensures rapid response to injuries, illnesses, and emergencies while supporting occupational health initiatives and promoting a safe workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, treatment, first aid, and emergency stabilization to staff and visitors.
• Manage workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies, including coordinating ambulance services and hospital referrals.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and prepare incident reports.
• Oversee the clinic’s medicines, medical supplies, and first‑aid kits.
• Support occupational health programs, health inspections, emergency drills, and wellness activities.
• Collaborate closely with HR, EHS/Safety, and management on employee health and safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with professional, occupational health, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Paramedicine, Emergency Medical Care, or a related field.
• Valid registration and practicing licence with the relevant professional body.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, construction, mining, or occupational health settings.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Occupational Health or ACLS certification (advantageous).
