About the role
Our client, a fast‑growing law firm in Nakuru, is seeking a motivated Commercial & Conveyancing Advocate. You will manage property transactions, provide commercial legal advice, and ensure smooth execution of client matters from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Handle conveyancing transactions from initiation through completion.
- Draft, review and negotiate agreements for sales, leases, transfers, charges and related documents.
- Conduct due diligence on property transactions and prepare supporting documentation.
- Coordinate property registration processes and ensure compliance with land laws and regulations.
- Liaise with land registries, survey offices and government agencies to secure registrations and approvals.
- Prepare securities and transactional documents for financing arrangements.
- Draft and review commercial agreements and contracts.
- Provide legal opinions and advisory services on commercial and real‑estate matters.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, lenders, valuers and other stakeholders.
- Support the firm with additional legal assignments as required.
Required profile
- Minimum two (2) years post‑admission experience in a busy legal practice.
- LLB degree (upper second class) from a recognized university.
- Valid practicing certificate.
