Communications Officer – Graphic Design, Videography & Photography

About the role

World Vision Kenya is seeking a Communications Officer with strong graphic design, videography and photography expertise to create brand‑compliant multimedia content that supports its FY26‑30 strategy, programme documentation, donor reporting and public engagement across 33 counties.

Key responsibilities

• Design visual assets such as statements, profiles, reports, infographics and social‑media graphics using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, ensuring print‑ready specifications and brand compliance.
• Plan, shoot and edit videos for programme documentation, donor updates and campaigns with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve, adding captions, colour grading and licensed music for platforms like YouTube and Instagram.
• Capture high‑quality photographs during field visits, events and emergency responses, edit them in Lightroom and Photoshop, and maintain a well‑tagged photo library.
• Build and maintain branded templates in PowerPoint, Word and Canva, archive footage according to records‑management standards, and contribute to creative planning with the Communications team.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience in graphic design with proven videography and photography skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Communications or a related field.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30 % of the time and ability to work in field settings while adhering to child‑safeguarding standards.
