Corporate Finance & Treasury Analyst

About the role

d.light is seeking a highly organized Corporate Finance & Treasury Analyst to support its regional hub in Nairobi. The role combines corporate finance modeling, debt covenant reporting, SPV receivables financing, and multi‑market treasury operations across East and West Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for fundraising, strategic planning, valuations and stress testing.
• Calculate, forecast and verify debt covenant headroom, prepare compliance certificates and lender reporting packs.
• Prepare investment memorandums, pitch decks and due‑diligence materials for fundraising.
• Manage monthly receivable sales into SPVs across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria and Zambia, including daily cash sweeps and eligibility testing.
• Consolidate OpCo cash submissions into rolling cash‑flow forecasts and produce weekly liquidity flash reports.
• Maintain the group debt register, execute FX conversions and hedging, and manage bank account administration and KYC.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Mandatory professional certification (CFA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in both corporate finance analysis and treasury operations.
• Experience with financial modeling, debt covenant compliance and multi‑currency banking platforms.
• Exposure to securitisation, off‑balance‑sheet SPVs, structured receivables financing and emerging market currency controls is preferred.
