Corporate M&A Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate/M&A Attorney to provide legal guidance on corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting a global leader in the technology sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate merger and acquisition agreements, asset purchase agreements and related transaction documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence on target companies, identifying risks and liabilities.
• Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder meetings and regulatory compliance.
• Structure and document corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external counsel and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum five years of experience in corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw.
• Proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis.
