Corporate Sales Representative - FMCG

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Corporate Sales Representative in Nairobi (M-Sa Road) for its FMCG business, with a focus on promoting detergent and related household cleaning products. The role covers corporate, institutional, wholesale and B2B sales, client relationship management, market development and sales reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new corporate, institutional, wholesale and B2B sales opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and volume targets, and generate leads through market research, referrals, networking, cold calling and field visits.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, quotations and proposals, and negotiate pricing, terms and contracts within company guidelines.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective clients, handle enquiries and complaints, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Promote products in the FMCG market, develop new distribution and corporate sales channels, and support product launches, promotions and exhibitions.
• Maintain customer account records, prepare sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates, and monitor achievement against targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Track record of achieving sales targets; B2B, corporate, institutional, wholesale or distributor sales experience is highly desirable.
• Experience in the detergent or household cleaning products industry is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of the Nairobi and wider Kenyan FMCG market.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales/customer management tools.
