Courier Operations Associate – Delivery Ops

About the role

The Courier Operations Associate will help build a reliable, efficient and sustainable delivery network for Uber Eats in Kenya. You will work closely with courier partners, merchants and internal teams to improve marketplace health, earnings and overall customer experience across Nairobi and other emerging cities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve courier marketplace health metrics such as online hours, fulfillment rates, cancellations and delivery efficiency.
• Design and execute engagement, onboarding, retention and earnings optimisation initiatives for couriers.
• Partner with Community Operations, Safety, Merchant Operations and Product teams to resolve operational pain points.
• Analyse trends and provide data‑driven recommendations to optimise incentives and reduce delivery friction.
• Conduct fieldwork with courier partners to identify on‑the‑ground challenges and scalable improvements.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across EMEA Central Operations, local SSA teams and commercial units.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, consulting, marketplace operations, business analytics or customer operations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a track record of turning metrics into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work cross‑functionally with support, policy, merchant and city operations teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
• SQL knowledge for querying operational data.
• Experience using data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker.
