Customer Service Attendant (Waiter / Waitress)

About the role

The Customer Service Attendant (Waiter / Waitress) will deliver exceptional dining experiences by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving meals promptly. This front‑of‑house position focuses on high customer satisfaction, upselling specialties, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and drinks according to service etiquette and timing guidelines.
• Check on guests throughout the meal, offer refills, and address special requests.
• Process bills, handle cash or card payments, and ensure accurate POS transactions.
• Clear, sanitize, and reset tables to maintain a tidy dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow and quality presentation.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or certificate in Food & Beverage Service / Hospitality Management.
• 1‑3 years of experience as a waiter, waitress, or server in a fast‑paced restaurant, café, or hotel.
• Valid Food Handler's Health Certificate as required by local regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑first attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) handheld tools or terminal systems.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and maintain high stamina during busy shifts.
