Design Consultant - Eldoret

About the role

Victoria Courts is hiring a Design Consultant in Eldoret. The role covers lead generation, customer service and meeting sales targets. It requires a deep understanding of the products, the sales process and its dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills. Key responsibilities

• Sales and business growth: proactively generate leads, build a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets; communicate with clients about promotions, new arrivals and restocked items; identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Client engagement: welcome showroom guests, give expert advice on product features and tailored solutions, and conduct product presentations and demonstrations, including assembling furniture when required.
• Collaborate with visual merchandisers on layouts, mood boards and customised solutions, and carry out client site visits and measurements.
• Quotations, negotiations and orders: prepare accurate client-specific quotations, negotiate to close deals, confirm stock availability and manage delivery timelines, and handle invoicing and payments in line with company financial policies.
• Delivery and after-sales: coordinate with warehouse, logistics and front desk teams for timely deliveries, act as the main client contact, and follow up after sales to resolve issues and gather feedback.
• Client relationship management: build trust-based relationships with new and repeat customers, keep the client database updated, and deliver a customer-first experience.
• Showroom and operations: contribute ideas for showroom displays, collaborate with the branch manager on operational improvements, and uphold company policies on payment terms, sales procedures and compliance.
