Digital Marketing, General IT & Communications Intern

About the role

Oracom Group is looking for motivated people to join as Digital Marketing, General IT and Communications interns in Nairobi, Kenya. The internship lasts 3 months and suits recent graduates and students who want hands-on experience in digital marketing, IT support, content creation and business communications within a fast-paced technology environment. It is a self-sponsored internship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.
• Create and publish content for websites, blogs and social media platforms.
• Support website updates and basic content management.
• Assist with general IT support and technology-related tasks.
• Help prepare marketing and communication materials.
• Conduct online research and compile reports.
• Engage with customers and respond to inquiries across digital platforms.
• Support company events, campaigns and promotional activities, and help with lead generation.
• Perform administrative and departmental tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, Business, Computer Science or a related field.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Creative, proactive and eager to learn; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new technologies.
