Digital Transformation Lead – Consultant (Technology Division)

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Digital Transformation Lead Consultant to support its Digital Business Transformation Plan. Based in Nairobi, the consultant will work with the Technology Division’s Digital Services team to bridge field realities with technology delivery, ensuring that new digital assistance‑delivery solutions are adopted and sustained across Country Offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and service‑design activities to capture Country Office priorities, constraints and user needs.
• Translate field requirements into technical specifications for beneficiary registration, registry management and enterprise deduplication solutions.
• Support Country Office readiness by providing guidance on the implementation of digital assistance‑delivery tools.
• Ensure continuous improvement of digital solutions in line with operational demands.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align technology delivery with the overall Digital Business Transformation Plan.

Required profile

• Consultant Level 2 appointment for a six‑month assignment.
• Experience in digital transformation initiatives, preferably within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Proven ability to conduct service‑design and stakeholder‑engagement activities.
• Strong analytical skills to translate field needs into actionable technical solutions.
