Driver for STRIDES Project (Nairobi, Kenya)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver to support the STRIDES project in Nairobi, Kenya. The role involves providing transportation for project staff, visitors and supplies, as well as ensuring the project vehicle remains clean and serviceable.

Key responsibilities

• Transport project staff, visitors and equipment to meetings, appointments and field locations safely and courteously.
• Pick up and deliver project supplies as directed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, including cleaning, checking fluid levels, tire pressure and engine condition.
• Carry out minor preventive maintenance and report any discrepancies to the Administrative & Procurement Officer.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence for Kenya.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain punctuality.
• Willingness to work in Nairobi County and travel to other counties as needed.
