Education Counsellor & Student Recruitment / Marketing Executive (Kenya Launch)

About the role

This is the first strategic hire to launch iWise Education’s Kenya operation. You will build the office, pipeline and brand from scratch while acting as both a trusted education counsellor and a hands‑on recruitment/marketing operator.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students on suitable destinations, institutions and programmes across Australia, the UK, Europe and Southeast Asia.
• Own the full student journey from first enquiry through admission, documentation and enrolment, converting enquiries into paid enrolments.
• Develop and manage relationships with schools, colleges, universities and sub‑agents across Nairobi and, later, wider Kenya/East Africa.
• Plan and run seminars, information sessions and education fairs to generate qualified leads.
• Execute local B2C demand‑generation activities (digital, on‑ground, referral and community channels) and collaborate with the Melbourne team on campaigns and branding.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline tracking using a CRM or structured system.
• Achieve monthly recruitment, partnership and conversion targets and report on progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in international education recruitment or study‑abroad consultancy.
• Proven track record of converting student enquiries into paid enrolments.
• Ability to build partnerships with educational institutions and sub‑agents.
• Strong ownership mindset and willingness to launch a new market.

Required skills

• CRM (customer relationship management) systems for pipeline tracking.
