About the role
The Financial Reporting Centre (FRC), a government agency established under section 21 of the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act No. 9 of 2009, is recruiting an Internal Auditor at entry and training grade in Nairobi. The post is open to one person and the officer works under the guidance of a designated supervisor.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake audit assignments in line with the approved audit work plan
- Contribute to the preparation of audit reports for audit engagements
- Take part in evaluating the progress and effectiveness of actions taken to implement audit recommendations from internal and external audits
- Assist in information systems audit engagements, including testing and evaluating programmes, quality assurance and reporting of audit results
- Assist in implementing new technologies and business applications
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (Finance & Accounting option) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
- Proficiency in computer applications
