Executive Driver

About the role

Stratostaff East Africa is hiring a full-time Executive Driver in Nairobi, reporting to the General Manager. The driver provides safe, reliable and professional transportation for the General Manager and their immediate family members, while also managing the company vehicles and keeping them ready for business and authorized use.

Key responsibilities

• Provide punctual, professional transport for the General Manager and family, including school runs, appointments, airport transfers and events, and assist with collection and delivery of items and documents.
• Coordinate and monitor vehicle readiness, and support travel logistics including airport transfers.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, arrange servicing, repairs, licensing, insurance renewals and statutory inspections, and keep accurate vehicle records.
• Ensure the privacy, security and confidentiality of the General Manager and family, and report accidents or security concerns promptly.
• Be available for occasional after-hours, weekend, public holiday and emergency trips.
• Maintain a professional image, build good relationships with stakeholders and uphold confidentiality on business matters.

Required profile

• KCSE or equivalent education.
• Valid driving licence with a clean record; defensive driving and first aid certification.
• At least 5 years' experience as an executive, corporate or VIP driver, including supporting senior executives.
• Strong knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations and road safety.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required.
