About the role

The External Engagement Coordinator supports the External Engagement directorate at Girls Not Brides, linking policy, advocacy, communications and development teams. The role ensures smooth planning, tracking and delivery of cross‑directorate projects and major external events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the directorate in planning, task management and coordination of initiatives.
• Track progress and deliverables for cross‑directorate projects and external events.
• Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure timely execution of activities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain documentation, reporting and follow‑up on action items.

Required profile

• Highly organized and proactive with strong attention to detail.
• Enjoys working across diverse teams and building relationships.
• Excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
• Calm, solutions‑focused, and able to manage tight timelines.
• Motivated by the mission to end child marriage and interested in international advocacy, communications or development.
