Field Sales Representative – Healthcare Products

About the role

A staffing agency is recruiting, on behalf of a client in the medical and healthcare products sector, a full-time Field Sales Representative based in Nairobi. The client provides healthcare solutions to pharmacies, hospitals and physiotherapy clinics and wants to grow its territory, customer base and relationships with healthcare providers. The role pays KES 80,000 to 100,000 gross plus commission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales territories by acquiring new accounts and building relationships with pharmacies, hospitals and physiotherapy clinics.
• Promote healthcare products and follow up on orders so they are processed and delivered on time.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and collections.
• Record customer visits and sales activities accurately in the CRM system.
• Prepare and submit weekly sales reports covering visits, new accounts, activities and progress against targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years of experience in medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare-product sales.
• Demonstrated experience acquiring and developing new customer accounts.
• Valid driving licence.
• Physiotherapy or clinical background is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to keep accurate sales records and reports.
