Field Sales Representative

About the role

Ufanisi Digital Media is hiring a professional and skilled Field Sales Representative to join its Sales Team in Nairobi on an immediate basis. The role covers developing sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, sourcing new opportunities, closing deals and increasing revenue through client management, prospect qualification and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Use customer sales techniques to close sales, forecast sales and test new sales approaches
• Attract new clients with new strategies and sales processes, and evaluate client needs to build long-lasting relationships
• Meet individual and team sales targets and collaborate with other sales reps on best techniques
• Research accounts, follow up or generate leads, and attend sales events, meetings and training
• Provide feedback to senior management with supporting statistics
• Maintain the client database for the territory and generate daily and monthly sales reports

Required profile

• BS/BA degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field; candidates with a high school diploma and relevant experience will also be considered
• Proven sales experience as a Field Sales Representative, Sales Representative or similar role
• Track record of achieving allocated sales quotas
• Excellent customer service, communication and negotiation skills, self-motivated and result-oriented

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with CRM and other software
• Knowledge of sales methodologies and pipeline management
• Proficiency with MS Office tools
