Field Sales Representative (Western Region)

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth across the Western Region of Kenya. You will build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring product availability and strong brand presence in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and increase market share within the territory.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising at retail outlets.
• Identify new business opportunities and recruit new customers.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
• Collect customer orders, follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Execute company sales and promotional initiatives effectively.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related business course.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in field sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience selling Unilever and/or Upfield products is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Valid driving or motorcycle riding license is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
