Finance and Operations Manager

About the role

The Finance and Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day financial, accounting, procurement, logistics and administrative functions of USP Kenya. Reporting to the Country Director and GHMS Program Delivery, the role ensures accurate financial management, compliance with USP, donor and local statutory requirements, and provides operational support for donor‑funded activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance, accounting, procurement, logistics and administrative operations for the Kenya office.
• Ensure compliance with USP standards, donor agreements and Kenyan statutory regulations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and transparent financial reporting.
• Coordinate with USP headquarters, GHMS project staff, Global Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance & Ethics and Security to support project implementation.
• Oversee donor‑funded activity implementation in collaboration with project teams and functional leads.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance and operations management within a donor‑funded or non‑profit environment.
• Ability to ensure compliance with organizational, donor and local statutory requirements.
• Strong internal‑control mindset and capacity to coordinate across multiple functional areas.
