Finance Business Partner – International Grants

About the role

The Clean Air Fund is looking for a Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial leadership across a portfolio of international grants and programmes. You will act as a trusted advisor to project directors and senior stakeholders, ensuring that funding decisions and financial planning are underpinned by robust insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, budgeting, reporting and financial analysis for grant portfolios.
• Oversee grant financial management, including due diligence, budgeting, reporting and financial reviews.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance audiences.
• Build strong relationships across teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Improve financial systems and processes in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Experienced Finance Business Partner with grant financial management experience.
• CCAB‑equivalent qualification or comparable professional experience.
• Knowledge of Charity SORP or ability to quickly acquire expertise in regulated accounting frameworks.
• Proven ability to work in a global organisation and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Strong judgement, attention to detail and pragmatic problem‑solving.

• Competitive salary based on location (London GBP 57,750; Accra GHS 431,250; Nairobi KES 5,281,250; Johannesburg ZAR 1,062,500).
