About the role

Solar Panda is a fast‑growing Canadian clean‑tech company delivering home solar systems and appliances to Kenyan households without reliable electricity. The Finance Manager will lead all financial operations in Kenya, ensuring robust financial management, regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, effective cash‑flow management and strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations and accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan financial regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support business growth.
• Act as a key business partner to senior leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance functions in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Kenyan financial regulations and reporting standards.
