FMCG Sales Representative (Delivery Rider)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time FMCG Sales Representative (Delivery Rider) based in Nairobi, covering Western Kenya and the Mt. Kenya region. The role combines sales and business development with route-based order taking and product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and develop business: reach sales targets, promote products and promotions, find upselling opportunities, recruit new customers and monitor competitors.
• Visit customers on the assigned route to take orders and deliver products on time, verify deliveries against invoices or delivery notes, obtain proof of delivery and handle returns.
• Display products correctly at customer outlets and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Account for stock issued, collect customer payments, reconcile daily sales, deliveries and collections, and report stock variances.
• Maintain the assigned motorcycle in good condition and follow approved routes.
• Keep accurate records of visits, sales, deliveries and collections and submit daily and periodic reports.
• Follow company policies, health and safety and traffic regulations, and keep company and customer information confidential.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years' experience as a motorcycle sales representative in the FMCG industry.
• Valid Class C driving licence and valid Class A motorcycle riding licence, with a clean driving record.

Required skills

• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of FMCG distribution and retail channels.
• Ability to achieve sales targets with minimal supervision.
