About the role
AGL (Africa Global Logistics), a multimodal logistics operator (port, logistics, maritime and rail) in Africa and part of the MSC Group, is hiring a Freight Forwarding Operations Administrative Assistant in Nairobi. The position is full-time and offered on a fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure timely processing of GRNs and LPOs
- Generate monthly reports from Gespar
- Maintain and update records of staff IOUs
- Periodically check stock levels of parts in the inventory to keep adequate levels
- Handle supplier invoices according to the required procedure
- Handle all warehouse correspondence and maintain the files
Required profile
- 2 years of experience
- Diploma in Business Studies
- Integrity, confidentiality, resilience and a presentable appearance
Required skills
- Computer literacy
- Communication and organizational skills
- Customer care and analytical skills
