Furniture Sales Executive

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a Furniture Sales Executive in Nairobi for its interior design and furniture manufacturing business. The role covers sales, business development, customer relationship management and order administration, with a net salary of KShs 30,000-50,000.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling and walk-in customers, and meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate pricing within approved guidelines, and close sales while following up on leads and dormant prospects.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, understand their needs and budgets, and handle complaints promptly.
• Present products and showroom tours, keeping up to date with interior design trends and competitor offerings.
• Manage orders from lead to delivery, liaise with operations, procurement, logistics and installation teams, and keep customer records and pipelines in the CRM.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts, and take part in exhibitions, trade shows and showroom campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven sales experience in furniture sales or a related industry.
• Interior design background is an added advantage; experience with residential and commercial clients is desirable.

Required skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Good presentation and selling skills, and ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
