General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will provide strategic leadership for Bollard Consulting Limited’s hotel operations and its School of Hospitality. Reporting to the Board, the role translates vision into measurable outcomes, drives revenue growth, and ensures high‑quality guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with strategic objectives.
• Identify and pursue growth, diversification and innovation opportunities.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships to strengthen market position.
• Lead all hotel functions including accommodation, F&B, events, sales, marketing, housekeeping, front office, maintenance, security and quality assurance.
• Monitor organisational performance against targets and manage performance across departments.
• Oversee the School of Hospitality, ensuring compliance with TVET regulations, financial sustainability and strong industry collaborations.

Required profile

• Executive‑level leader with at least 15 years of experience in hospitality management.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
• Strong strategic thinking, accountability and integrity.
• Experience managing both hotel operations and educational programmes is preferred.
