Branch Supervisor – Kisumu

About the role

Java House Africa Ltd is seeking a proactive Branch Supervisor to lead its Kisumu outlet. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining financial performance in a fast‑paced café environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑of‑house staff, schedule shifts and monitor performance.
• Handle cash, operate the point‑of‑sale system and reconcile daily sales.
• Review and analyse P&L statements to meet profitability targets.
• Maintain stock levels, conduct inventory checks and coordinate with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and customer comfort standards.
• Address customer issues promptly and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Food & Beverage Service or a related field.
• Minimum two years of front‑of‑house experience, including stand‑in manager or management trainee roles.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions and demonstrate strong ethics.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Suite).
