Ground Operations Ramp Staff – Supervise Airside Turnaround

About the role

The Ground Operations Ramp Staff member will lead airside activities at Wilson Airport, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft turnaround. Reporting to senior management, the role combines supervision of personnel, equipment coordination and strict adherence to aviation safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all ramp operations, including aircraft marshalling, loading and unloading.
• Schedule and optimise ramp staff, equipment and shift patterns to maximise productivity.
• Monitor safety‑critical and quality‑critical tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and aviation regulations.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment and promote a strong safety culture.
• Prevent aircraft damage and Foreign Object Debris incidents; report, investigate and follow up on any accidents.
• Oversee the safe operation and utilisation of ground support equipment (GSE).

Required profile

• Minimum High School Certificate (O‑Level or equivalent) and a valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• At least two years of relevant experience in ramp or airside operations within the aviation industry.
• Sound knowledge of aviation safety standards, ramp procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities, with high integrity and attention to detail.
