Hardware Sales Specialist

About the role

The Hardware Sales Specialist will promote and sell hardware and general merchandise in the Kisumu region, working to meet the company's sales targets. This role involves building strong relationships with local retailers, bulk clients and industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell hardware and general merchandise, achieving set sales targets.
• Develop and maintain long‑term cooperative relationships with local retailers, bulk clients and industry partners.
• Investigate local market demand, competitor dynamics and customer feedback to support sales strategy adjustments.
• Handle daily customer inquiries, order coordination and after‑sales problem solving to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree; relevant experience in hardware and general merchandise preferred.
• Familiarity with the local consumer market in Kisumu and existing local customer resources in the hardware industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with a result‑oriented sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to daily local business development needs.
