Hardware Sales Specialist – Kisumu

About the role

The Hardware Sales Specialist will drive promotion and sales of hardware and general merchandise across the Kisumu region. You will work towards achieving the company’s sales targets while building lasting relationships with local retailers and bulk clients.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell hardware and general merchandise to meet set sales targets.
• Develop and maintain long‑term cooperative relationships with local retailers, bulk clients and industry partners.
• Continuously expand the local customer base.
• Investigate market demand, competitor activity and customer feedback, providing timely insights to adjust sales strategies.
• Handle daily customer inquiries, coordinate orders and resolve after‑sales issues to ensure high satisfaction.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience in the hardware and general merchandise sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Kisumu consumer market and existing local hardware customer contacts.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities with a result‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to daily business development needs.
