Head of Rural Entrepreneur Partner Program (Kenya)

About the role

The Head of REP Program will own the end‑to‑end Rural Entrepreneur Partner (REP) pipeline for Finagra in Kenya. This senior, hands‑on position blends strategic portfolio management with field‑level execution to build a scalable, agronomy‑led franchise model.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a disciplined REP operating model that can be replicated across markets.
• Lead the full REP lifecycle: identification, screening, selection, contracting, onboarding, active management, performance monitoring, retention and replacement.
• Make capital‑allocation and risk‑management decisions while ensuring field teams have the tools and support they need.
• Build and nurture a community of rural entrepreneurs, providing training, financing access, operational support and clear growth pathways.
• Collaborate closely with Agronomy & Operations, Finance, Tech & Data, People, Supply Chain, Growth & Partnerships, and HQ leadership.
• Track REP performance as an investment portfolio and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strategic leader comfortable moving between boardroom‑level decisions and on‑the‑ground execution.
• Proven ability to design systems, manage risk and allocate capital in an agribusiness context.
• Experience working directly with rural partners, building trust and supporting community livelihoods.
• Strong understanding of contract farming, agronomy‑led franchise models and rural entrepreneurship.
