Head of Sales and Operations

About the role

The Head of Sales and Operations will lead the commercial and logistical functions of Cranford Resource Group Limited, driving revenue growth while ensuring efficient delivery operations. Reporting to senior management, you will shape strategy, mentor teams and optimise the end‑to‑end supply chain to meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and revenue.
• Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to achieve targets.
• Oversee route planning to optimise deliveries and enhance customer service.
• Manage fleet maintenance, monitor operational performance and control costs.
• Analyse performance metrics and provide insights for data‑driven decisions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration between sales, logistics and finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and operations, preferably in distribution or FMCG.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
