About the role

The HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead end‑to‑end recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation processes. This role ensures smooth onboarding, fosters a respectful workplace, and guarantees compliance with Kenyan labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define workforce needs, create job descriptions, source candidates, conduct interviews, and manage onboarding.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, and driving engagement initiatives.
• Design and oversee performance management cycles, provide coaching, and support career development.
• Administer payroll, benefits, and conduct compensation benchmarking to maintain competitive packages.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations, maintain accurate records, and represent the company in arbitration proceedings.
• Manage attendance tracking, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct disciplinary investigations, issue warnings, and guide managers on corrective measures.
• Maintain confidential employee records and perform regular audits for data accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple HR functions simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on confidentiality and data integrity.
