Human Resource Manager

About the role

The Human Resource Manager will lead HR functions at Jordan Hospital, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding and placement of employees.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Develop, implement and review HR policies and procedures in line with applicable labour laws.
• Manage employee relations, workplace grievances, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate staff performance appraisals and support employee development and training.
• Monitor staff attendance, leave management and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements and hospital policies.
• Advise management on HR matters, staffing needs and employee welfare.
• Support payroll administration and maintain accurate HR data.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
• Registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combined HR and administrative role, preferably in healthcare or service sector.
• Sound understanding of HR practices, labour laws, employee relations, performance management and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
