ICT Internship – Business Applications & Database Support

About the role

The ICT Internship at MESPT offers hands‑on experience supporting a range of business applications, including IMIS, HRIS, ERP, and document management systems. You will work under the ICT Manager to maintain and enhance these systems while gaining practical skills in database and application management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in analysing, validating and documenting business functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Support system monitoring, early issue detection, and resolution of incidents.
• Participate in user acceptance testing, API support, and integration of new technical requirements.
• Perform database backups, restores and assist with configuration, restoration and continuity measures.
• Conduct user training, demos and support programmes for business applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum one year of hands‑on development experience.
• Full‑time availability and willingness to learn quickly.

Required skills

• Java development
• SQL and .Net programming
• Salesforce platform (Apex, SOQL)
• Experience with APIs and business application integration
