About the role
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is seeking an Information Systems Officer (P3) to provide advanced operational oversight, coordination and technical leadership for service‑provider style infrastructure operations within the ICT Service. UNON supports programme implementation for UNEP, UN‑Habitat and the Resident Coordination System globally, delivering administrative, security, conference and information services.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day infrastructure operations and ensure reliable service delivery.
- Coordinate with external service providers and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with organisational needs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance under the supervision of the Chief, UNON/ICTS/IMS.
- Support the Infrastructure Management Section in planning, monitoring and reporting on ICT infrastructure performance.
