Interior Design & Architecture Internship

About the role

Pulsaris Design is seeking a motivated Interior Design/Architectural Intern to join its on‑site team in Mombasa. This three‑month program offers hands‑on experience across commercial, corporate, and residential projects, allowing you to develop practical skills while working alongside senior designers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in space planning and creation of interior design concepts.
• Produce technical drawings and layout drafts using ArchiCAD, SketchUp or similar tools.
• Develop 3D renderings to visualise design proposals.
• Conduct site surveys and support on‑site supervision.
• Collaborate with senior designers on research and client specifications.

Required profile

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of space planning and interior design principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Passion for design and eagerness to learn new techniques.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ArchiCAD or SketchUp (or comparable drafting software).
• Experience with 3D rendering tools.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical ability in space planning.
