IT Officer – Manage Networks and Systems

About the role

The Information Technology Officer will manage and maintain RELON‑Kenya’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure and efficient technology services that support the organisation’s programmes and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain computers, servers, networks, internet connectivity, printers and other ICT equipment.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, email and related issues.
• Install, configure and update hardware, operating systems and applications.
• Administer user accounts, access permissions and passwords in line with policies.
• Implement data protection, cybersecurity measures and backup/recovery procedures.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets, software licences and coordinate procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• At least three years of professional experience in systems administration, ICT support or similar.
• Proven experience managing organisational IT infrastructure and user support.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection and backup/recovery practices.
