IT Trainee – Hotel Technology Support

About the role

The IT Trainee will work under the Training Manager and Departmental Trainer to gain hands‑on experience in hotel technology operations. This on‑site role offers exposure to AV systems, database management and general IT support within a multinational hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with routine and emergency technical equipment maintenance, including AV control rooms and banquet equipment.
• Provide technical support to guests and staff, monitor peripheral supplies, and maintain inventory of AV and computer hardware.
• Manage database integrity, perform backups, recovery procedures and prepare Crystal Reports.
• Support hardware and software troubleshooting, prioritize IT incidents affecting revenue or guest experience, and coordinate repairs.
• Enforce security procedures, manage user access rights, and keep systems up to date.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT (completed coursework acceptable).
• Kenyan citizen, less than one year since graduation (2025/2026).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multinational environment.
• Professional grooming and positive learning attitude.
