Junior Sales Executive - Furniture

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a Junior Sales Executive for its furniture business in Nairobi. The role covers sales, business development, customer relationship management and order administration, with a net salary of KShs 30,000-50,000.

Key responsibilities

• Pursue new sales through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling and walk-ins, and meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate prices within approved guidelines and close sales, including cross-selling and upselling.
• Follow up on quotations, leads, dormant prospects and previous customers.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, understand their needs and budgets, and resolve complaints promptly.
• Present products and showroom tours, keeping up to date with interior design trends and competitor offerings.
• Manage orders from lead to delivery, liaise with operations, procurement, logistics and installation teams, and keep customer records and pipelines in the CRM.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts, and take part in exhibitions, trade shows and showroom campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven sales experience in furniture or a related industry.
• Interior design background is an added advantage; experience with residential and commercial clients is desirable.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Good presentation and selling skills, and ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
