Kenya Country Representative – Remote

About the role

The position is a fully remote, flexible role that serves as the primary link between Vanzbon Global’s headquarters in Shenzhen and local enterprises and service providers in Kenya. The Kenya Country Representative will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of company registration, legal compliance, finance and tax services, and will build and maintain a network of trusted local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete delivery of Kenyan enterprise compliance services, including legal inspections, policy guidance and risk assessments for overseas‑invested companies.
• Handle company registration, amendment, cancellation and other commercial procedures, ensuring they are performed legally and efficiently.
• Provide full‑cycle financial and tax services such as bookkeeping, tax filing, annual audits and compliance monitoring.
• Monitor and summarise updates to Kenyan industry and tax regulations and relay critical information to the Shenzhen headquarters.
• Identify, verify and onboard high‑quality local partners – law firms, accounting firms, tax advisors and other professional service providers – and maintain a stable resource library.
• Coordinate local industrial resources (factory space, offices, commercial venues) and supply‑chain partners to support cross‑border projects.
• Act as the exclusive local liaison, facilitating communication between Kenyan enterprises and the headquarters to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain transparent coordination of daily business activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business services, legal compliance, finance or tax support within Kenya.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan corporate, tax and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and manage relationships with local professional service providers.
